About The Event

We are excited to have Calvin Williams join us. 

Calvin Williams is a native of Monroe, LA, and currently resides in Houston, TX, and is a member of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church. Calvin is an husband and father of 2 daughters and one son.

Calvin is currently employed as an Operations Manager and Special Agent for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. This role requires effective communication and skill as I engage senior level stakeholders at federal, state and local levels. Calvin previously held positions with the legacy U.S. Customs Service, Office of Investigations, Atlanta, GA; Department of Homeland Security Investigations, Fresno, CA; held positions as a Training Program Manager, Recruiter for New Orleans, LA; Section Chief for Management Inspections Headquarters, Washington, DC; and San Antonio, Texas.

In 1997, Calvin enlisted into the United States Army serving in both the 2nd and 3rd Infantry Division and was honorably discharged on September 10, 2001. In 2004, Calvin graduated (cum laude) from Grambling State University and earned a Bachelors is Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Calvin is also a 2012 graduate of the USDA Graduate School for Executive Potential and is currently matriculating to receive a Masters of Science degree in Organizational Management from Thomas Edison State a College.

He is a member of the Douglas L. Williams Chapter (DLW Chapter) and a Life Member of GUNAA. He proudly serves as the chapter’s President and GUNAA Board of Directors as an Member-at-large and Sergeant at Arms. Calvin is the CEO for The HBCU Project and the owner of the Signature Brand HTX.
